Earlier this week I had the opportunity to finish a photoshoot I had started last December with amazing photographer Bobby Williams. Bobby is an absolute magician when it comes to finding spots with amazing lighting and interesting background textures, as you'll be able to see with the photos.
The philosophy behind this shoot was to capture some images in some of the places that symbolise some of the things I like the most about London, but which don't necessarily relate to my work as a singer.
We met at Store St. Espresso near Russell Square, had a coffee (very good coffee there, by the way) and discussed potential locations. We then set off to places like Curzon Cinema in Soho (which, by the way has lots of Opera posters decorating the walls throughout the building), the legendary Foyles Bookshop and, earlier this week, Spitalfields Market, a location which I really love because of the way how Victorian architecture meets the XXIst Century.
These locations allowed for some really interesting and contrasting photos which I'm hoping you'll enjoy as much as I did getting them done. More importantly, I really think they capture the essence of the things that I really enjoy about London.
Check out a few below! As usual, I look forward to hearing your feedback on them!
